Annual Conference 2023

Call for Posters

To display at this years SRNF Conference.

Would you like to present a poster at this years SRNF conference (3rd & 4th November). The SRNF welcome you to submit a poster showcasing projects/work you have been involved in. Categories of submission can include:

1.          Research

2.          Clinical practice innovation

3.          Clinical guideline/ policy development

4.          Audit or service evaluation

5.          Education innovation

6.          Knowledge exchange

 

Guidelines for your poster. Wherever possible your poster should include the following:

  • Title

  • Category: please state one category selected from the list of categories above.

  • Name(s) of the author(s).

  • Institutional affiliation of the author(s). In case of multiple authorship, the first named author is the person presenting the talk.

  • Background: a brief introduction and rationale (why the project was undertaken).

  • Method: an outline of the method (how the project was done).

  • Results: a summary of the main results (what was found). 

  • Discussion: an interpretation of the findings and indication of implications, e.g. for practice, research or education.

  • Conclusion

  • [References are not normally required or expected but if included, no more than two are acceptable.]

You will need to ensure that you have a copy of your poster ready to bring along on the day(s) of the conference.

Members of the conference committee will review all posters independently during the event. The fabulous prize for the winning poster will be a fully funded place at next years SRNF conference which includes: Two day conference attendance, overnight hotel accommodation with dinner, breakfast and evening entertainment (disco). 

The Deadline for poster submission is 31st October 2023.
